Errors on generation

Post by datapointsoftware »

I was just playing with options and tried to create a new site from the WIZARD. In the end I got this error:

This means that your openai account does not have enough (free) credits.

Please see the FAQ for more details.

Note that you do not have to use AI to create a website using the wizard.

The other error indicates that the software does not have permissions to access a folder, so it cannot save files.
Please make sure your firewall, virusscanner etc. does not block access. Add webbuilder.exe to the exception list(s).

This is wired, because I do use this folder for other WB projects, and never had any permission problems.

I created another example site just to learn how all this operates and it was created from the template. Now I open the Master Page and cannot edit the menu the way I want. I understand the existing menu is based on pages in the Site Manager. I need however create a EMPTY slot on the menu top level), then few subitems connected to the pages. How can I do this ?

MENU-ITEM1
---Subitem1
---Subitem2
etc,...

I also do not understand how the Wizard option works. It looks really wired, because it only asks about the theme, then picks some random images and template. This sequence doesn't really look like a wizard, as it is quite random. This is not really how I would expect it to work. In the past when I used some wizard once, it was asking some questions, allowing name pages etc. I am not sure what I am missing here but all this is quite confusing.

BTW. Would AI features work with the free service OR only paid one ?

If the menu is on a master page then you will need to edit kit on the master page.

The website wizard is explained here:
https://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/website_wizard.html

If you need help then please share a demo projkect and explain the exact step to prepuce the issue. See also the forum rules.

AI functionality uses third party APis. You can also run it locally (free). This is explained here:
