CMS demo
I am looking for CMS demo, I mean live site where I can see it in action.
I looked up the build in CMS extension in WWB and it seems to be poorly documented. I have not found any examples on WWB site as well. I read through the basic info and I am still confused how it supposed to be properly configured and implemented.
Are there any other alternatives ?

Did you read all online tutorials and documentation in the help?
What exactly is unclear?
There is also a dedicated FAQ:

The demo project can be found in 'examples'

my use case is clients that want to edit certain parts of their websites; post today's special for restaurant, post notices for government sites, post book signing dates, etc. the editable content works fine for these, is easy to implement, and has been stable in use by my clients.

Re: CMS demo
I have seen the DEMO, but it does not really look appealing.
I wonder if anybody has this implemented in any working site, I could go and see working ?
and, yes I've seen the DEMO of the extension. Looks better, but wanted to start with something built in first and see if fits.
onlye - are you talking about the WWB extension ? could you provide the link, that I can see it in action (even if it is just a front page) ?
Thanks

Re: CMS demo
The demo is just an basic example of how to use the tools, it is intentionally kept simple to focus on the functionality.

Re: CMS demo
When using the editable content there is nothing you can see on the page. When you update the content the changes are displayed on the page as if they had been updated in your project. I'll see if I can make a sample project for you. Would include a page where the content is changes and a management page to change the content.datapointsoftware wrote: Thu Jan 08, 2026 11:12 pm

Re: CMS demo
Thank you ALL for replying, it is a pleasure to be in this community.
I just saw some DEMO from WWB 17 about building CMS pages. It looked nice, but it was mostly explaining the back end. One of my concerns is to create a feature rich page (ie. images, links, vide etc.) which most likely would require some CSS/HTML/ and possibly JS.
So If I create a page using WWB, and all JS/CSS will be inline), then I paste the entire page code into CMS page (within tinyMCE), how can I then display this content on WWB site ?
In other words creating a CMS pages from the back end is rather clear for me. What I am not sure how to implement them on the front.
Perhaps I am missing something, I am not very familiar with WWB details.

Re: CMS demo
you add an Editable Content container to any page on your website. adding it is like adding a layout grid, etc just drag and drop from the Toolbox. then when you edit that section in the backend (Editable Content Admin) it updates the editable content container on your website page.
i think trying to build a feature rich page with WWB and then pasting it into the tinyMCE editor may be a bit beyound the intent of the Editable Content offering.

Re: CMS demo
Well, I do not mean to use CMS editor to build a sophisticated layout, but just a simple article (mainly text, images, possibly some links, eventually text columns, that's all). Kinda similar functionality to Joomla, WordPress (but just to create an article). If there is no way of formatting anything or no simple features than this would not work for me. Interestingly no one so far has posted any usable example (besides on by Pablo), which is OK, but rather very plain and in that stage not very useful.

Re: CMS demo
The CMS support several third party editors.
Examples:
https://wysiwygwebbuilder.com/support/w ... tarea.html
These are the default tool layouts. But most of them can be configured to add more tools.
