Hi
I tried to upload my existing website BotelerRacing.com and it failed.
I'm using WYSIWYG V16
I tested FTP connection and it passed.

Setting remote folder to Botelerracing.com/public_html
Status: 550 Can’t create directory: File exit
Status: 550 Can’t create directory: File exit
Status: 550 Can’t create directory: File exit
Status: 550 Can’t create directory: File exit
Status: 550 Can’t create directory: File exit
Status: 550 Can’t create directory: File exit
Status: 550 Can’t create directory: File exit

Uploading ‘arial.tff’….
Internet Exception Error 12003Details: The server returned extended information 2….
Closing FTP connection
Removing temporary files
Publish failed

This is unrelated to WWB in anyway and is a permission issue on the server that you can't create the folder. It could also be that you are required to now use SFTP rather than FTP only your host/server provider will be able to say which so you will need to contact and ask. Also ensure that you havent unchecked 'Passive mode' this should be checked ticked..

Also note WWB16 is no longer supported

Version 16 is quite old and may not be fully compatible with newer server configurations.

Based on the error, it looks like this version still relies on Internet Explorer components for communication with the server. Since Internet Explorer is now outdated, this can cause connection issues with modern FTP servers.

Newer versions of WWB use a more modern communication layer, which should provide better compatibility with current FTP servers.
