Image carousel with text panels not cycling

Hey brains trust.

I am doing a motorcycle transport website for a friend, and have found a carousel that shows and sats exactly what I want. I have placed all the images and most of the text in it I want to use, but for the life of me, I cannot get the images to cycle, or to cycle with the relevant text. I used the project carousel block, I have placed the 4 images in the bottom row, the corresponding images in the 4 slost for the cousel, and most of the text I want to use in the slides on the right. I was hoping that the images cycle through with the relevant text slide, I have spent a few hours playing around with transitions and animations, but cant seem to get the to cycle at all.

This is one of the last items to put into the site before final cosmeic changes and testing. I have just saved to my google drive the carousel only setup, minus any changes to animations and transisions I have tried.

You have set the pause mode to '0', this means it's in 'manual mode'. In this mode it can only be controlled via events.
If you want it to automatically move please use another value than 0

Also, the event implementation is incorrect. It uses outdated bootstrap events.
The correct syntax is
