Smooth Scroll
Smooth Scroll
==============================
Smooth Scrolling Extension - Version 1.0.0
==============================
It's quite often, when navigating through a long document, confusing or disorienting for users to click a link which immediately jumps them to somewhere else in that document. Are they on the same page, on a different page, should they scroll more from here, what's going on?
Smooth link scrolling alleviates this a little, by scrolling the page to the new link rather than jumping there directly.
While there is not much and you might think you don't need an extension for this but out of laziness I made this into an extension.

Re: Scroll Left & Right?
I have no idea. I suggest you check the authors website to see if you can customise it.thanksjc wrote:Sneil69,
This extension is great!!! One the best as of late. I was wondering 2 things though:
1) Is there ANY way to get the page to scroll left and right, not just up and down?
I would like to be able to scroll left and right on a page with a long width. Can this be done with this extension or added in as an update to the extension? Thanks.
2) Is there a way to adjust the speed of the scroll?
Yes I am sure . I am using the link you gave It is not working perfectly for me.sneil69 wrote:They are working perfectly. Are you sure you are downloading from the right location?Patr100 wrote:Any chance of uploading to anoother host like Mediafire?
Downloads have been "unavaiilable" for nearly two days now.
Thanks

When I then click to download the file I get a page that says this everytime I try :

Please check your settings, it works here. Or give me an email address and I will send it to you.Patr100 wrote:Yes I am sure . Bottom line is Mediafire is the only way to go. Period!!!
I like your examples, but would like to avoid the menu whizzing along with the content. I'm trying unsuccessfully to use your smooth scroller with an Iframe. The Iframe is sized to show a paragraph at a time, and the text has a bookmark at the start of each paragraph. Is there a way to make this work with the links to the bookmarks outside of the Iframe on the page? Or maybe another way to get the effect of showing/scrolling a paragraph at a time?
Sorry as far as I know you cannot do that. That's why you have the menu repeated in every segment.mbrowne wrote:I like your examples, but would like to avoid the menu whizzing along with the content.
