Layout Grid background Image Size

I want to add a background image to a beach / ocean view to a layout grid. It only displays about 60-70 px of height and less than the horizontal with of the images. It crops the image size and won't let me increase either direction. How do I do that?

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project (.wbs file) so I can see all your settings.

I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.

Are you setting the image as the background of the entire grid? If so, set it to 'cover' to fil the entire background. Keep in mind, to see the background, you have to have content int he grid itself
