An Editable Object Not Showing Changes

Post by slymudbug »

Hello

Everything has been working with the editable content until this week. Today my client was trying to update some content on their website, but the content didn't show up in the communityevents box. Everything is working fine for the morningshow box. They're setup the exact same way, and I made sure that the admin box was set to access the content on both pages. I have been trying to troubleshoot for a while, but everything as far as I can tell is the same, so I'm not sure why they were unable to edit one and not the other.

Please let me know if you need further details.

If it has previously worked and you did not change anything then the problem is not in the project.
In that case, it's more likely a server related issue.

Maybe the database file is read-only or corrupt ?
Are there any errors in the browser console?

My browser isn't showing any errors. The content actually allowed my client to delete the text I had added to show them what it would look like. She saved, looked, saw it was gone, went back, and then nothing.

The database I'm using is whatever is connected to the editable content admin. How do I check for errors?

it the content in the box empty? if so, try going into the html editor (on the website) and do Ctrl+A to make sure all content is selected. delete. then type your content again. I have had this happen on several html editors in editable content and some third party scripts.
