working on project on another computer

Post by Trugmaker »

At this time of the year when sales are low, I would like to spend more time on updating my website at work, which is usually carried out at home on weekends. So I need to copy my project onto my work computer. I have asked this question before but so far have failed to achieve any semblance of success, as the instruction to achieve this on the WWB forum relates to version 5, I am using 19. Is there a simple, understandable method to copy ALL relevant files onto a memory stick and then open them on another computer (work)? Secondly, do I need a second installation of WWB 19 on the work computer for this to be possible, or can it function entirely from the mem stick? A simple guide that is understandable for a 74-year-old suffering brain fog, even though I have been using WWB since Pablo was learning to walk. I would very much appreciate it. Thankyou in anticipation.

The reference you mentioned reads for version 5.5 and higher but is still relevant for the version you are using today WWB19 nothing has changed. Did you read the last post from Pablo were you can just zip all the files from one pc to another? How to copy a project from one computer to another? or if you are PC savvy copy the regist from one to the other I only recommend if you are confident in doing this if not then not.
Yes you will need a copy of WWB on each PC they both should be the latest release (version number) so that you won't have issues opening back and forth between home and work. The same is with any extensions/fonts you may use.

Note is you can have a second computer you own with the same license key.
A license for a single user which can be installed on 3 computers. The license may not be shared with other users.
