As we have previously announced there is a problem with Windows 8.1/IE11 and publishing in older versions of WYSIWYG Web Builder.
Now Microsoft has recently also released an update for Windows 7 which instals the same buggy version of the network engine (as part of IE11)!
Solution:
Make sure you are running the latest version of WYSIWYG Web Builder.
We have implemented a workaround so the software no longer uses the standard FTP engine.
Please go to Tools->Options->Publish & Preview and set the FTP engine to 'winsock'
This will bypass the standard FTP functionality of Windows (wininet) and WYSIWYG Web Builder will use 'winsock' for the FTP communication instead.
The workaround is available for WYSIWYG Web Builder 8.5.9 and WYSIWYG Web Builder 9.1.3:
