Long Webpage Issue

Post by mnwitten »

I doubt this is a WWB issue...but...this page http://ceilingfanart.com/headshop-fan-art.php is a long page with over a hundred images. Each image has a link to a checkout page. But while the link works (hover hand) on the top of the page...once you get down closer to the bottom of the page, the link no longer works (hover arrow).

Any suggestions? I already know I can cut down the images and it will work but shouldn't it work regardless?

PS: This is a testing site and I just uploaded it to ask the question.

Update:
In EDGE...it seems to work fine.
In FOX...it cuts off and shows a bunch of text at the bottom
In CHROME (which I use) it does as described in my original post

The code of the page is invalid. There are many many errors...

Did you insert the code of the links yourself?

Apart from the code at the end of page which is placed incorrectly I would also think about how you are using the hand hover to highlight the image(s) . As you may already know hover is not supported in the likes of iPad/Android (Mobile devices). This means when a user visits your site on those devices then there will be no hand hover over the image for it to be selected so you may have to rethink the use of the hand hover for selection.

Thanks Pablo...didn't even think of validating it as it has always worked on other pages with fewer images.

That may just have been luck....
The code invalid, so I think you will need to fix that first.
