Question #1001 about Master Frame vs Master Page

(I have looked at/read the tutorials, videos, the user guide, help section within the program and set up mock sites with both. Also searches within the forum over a long period of time. And I am still confused about which to use and or is best. So let's see if we can nail this down, please.)

1.) The visual difference is you don't see your complete page with master frame until preview, with master page you have WYSIWYG?

2.) With the master frame you get a more automatic placement of objects, so to speak, with the content place holder and in relation to page length?

3.) Master Frame, does the layout(bootstrap) grid work?
4.) Master Frame, does the flex box work?
5.) Master Frame, does the css flex grid work?

6.) Master Page, does the layout(bootstrap) grid work?
7.) Master Page, does the flex box work?
8.) Master Page, does the css flex grid work?

9.) When is it better to use the Master Frame or the Master Page? Does it matter? Or does that depend on the features/objects used? And, or do we need to experiment on our own.

I apologize for all the questions and I know there's been 10k posts about this, but I've been looking at this for years.

9. There is no 'best way'. it is more about your personal preference.

The 'right' solution will be whatever works best for the layout you have in mind.

The Master 'frame' has a fixed layout. The variable 'content' of the frame will always fit inside the rigid dimensions which you pre-define. Have a look again at the image in the tutorial, to better understand the 'effect'. http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/master_frame.html

On the other hand, Master Page is more like a Letterhead (not exactly, but as a concept), and you use it just like Letterhead stationery. It can contain a banner, navigational links, or what have you, but the final page itself has no defined height (or, length). You can include a footer, as you wish, and when you call up the Master Page from the content page, you can adjust the footer to be wherever you would like it to be.

So, if you have, say 30 pages in your web design, and you wish to have each page retain the same look and feel, without having to dupicate all the same detail over and over; use Master Page. If you only have a page or two where you would like to change or update the content, Master Frame is your friend.
