Background problem

Post by sieweb »

Hi and good morning,
in the example is a layoutgrid with the background set to white.
the page background is set to grey.
my problem is, that only the background that is covered with text will appear as white, not the free space and not the 'Padding space', looking ugly.
I would like to have the complete grid appearing as white.
Thank you, horst

This is normal behavior, because the the layout grid itself does not have a height (otherwise it would not be flexible)
If you want to cover the full height then you will have to set the column height to 'fixed'

Or else use this extension:
