LAYERS, LAYOUT GRIDS ETC - Responsive Bookmarks?

Post by ColinM »

Hi Pablo,

I have a sticky layer LG that I'm using to contain the page menu.

The height of this layer varies between BPs.

I've noticed that when I change the bookmark offset it changes the offset across all BPs/

Is that normal behaviour and if so, is it possible to consider making that responsive if enough people are interested in that please? In which case I'll move this to the "suggestions box".
Yours truly

The bookmark offset is controlled by JavaScript so it will be difficult to make this responsive.

Ah, ok, no biggy - thanks Pablo - if need be I can always use anchors, or live with a max offset value. 8)

Hi Colin... When I nead to adjust the bookmark different between the breakpoints I use the "Bookmark" from the Standard tools instead :D
Aha correction... noted that the "Anchors" probably is the same as Standard "Bookmarks" :D

Thanks Bluesman for your buy in :D , yes, calling them anchors is very nautical of me  - I think that would be the best work around. Or make the height of each sticky menu LG the same, then I can have a universal offset. 8)

Well sometimes you must have a smaller header in the lower breakpoints. In this case I don't see any workarround

No, in this case the menu's are all in their own sticky layout grid. So making them the same height wasn't an issue. 8)
