Every time I update to the latest version of wwb I keep losing the image filters.
see example: http://www.prishprash.com/whatabowler65/filterloss.pdf.

I'm sorry, but it is not clear what the problem is.
Can you please be more specific?
Your project has hundreds of pages, so I have no idea where to look or what to do to see the issue.

Note: if you share a project can you please remove everything that is not relevant to your question?

I have spent many hours trying to replicate the problem to occur consistently, without success.
Every time the problem appears I save the project, close wwb, reload the project.
Sometimes the problem reappears on reload but most times it does not.
The problem arises sometimes on project load or sometimes at other times (sorry to be vague).

I have cut the project right down to the point the problem reoccurs (sometimes). I hope it helps.
http://prishprash.com/filterloss5.wbs
http://prishprash.com highlights the problem.

This cut down project contains layers that contain images, most of which contain the "soft edges" filter.
These layers all have the "layer_menu" prefix in their name.
Sometimes you will find that by selecting (showing) one of these layers at random the images have stopped displaying the image filter even though the image properties (effects) contains the filter.

What I have determined is when the problem occurs I don't have to reinstate the image filters.
Just save project and reload until the problem disappears.

This problem only started to appear when I updated to 16.4.
Hope this helps.

Can you also include the images? Otherwise I only see a blank page.
Sometimes you will find that by selecting (showing) one of these layers at random the images have stopped displaying the image filter even though the image properties (effects) contains the filter.
Do you mean that I have to publish the page before I can see the problem?
Can you please describe step by step what I need to do to see the problem?

images: prishprash.com/filterloss5.zip.
publish: no.. the problem appears most times within wwb and when published.
steps:
1) see prishprash.com... this shows the published version of filterloss5.wps (image filters missing)
2) in wwb: load filterloss5.wps.
3) publish filterloss5 and see if image filters have been applied.
4) compare published filterloss5 with prishprash.com. (if the same then images are not being filtered)
5) in wwb: show "layer_menu_matchesBB" - are image filters active? should be.
6) if wwb image filters are active then try publishing and see if image filters are being applied.
7) if you find the image filters are active then you need to continually play around until they are not.
eg1. close wwb, reload project .
eg2. select another "layer_menu..." layer and see if image filters are active.
eg3. try and try again. there are lots of permutations. this can be very frustrating.

Hope this helps

Thanks for the clear description. That was helpful.
I was now able to reproduce the problem and it has been fixed in the latest build (7/5/2021)
