Carousel - more than once in a page

I'd like to use a carousel extension twice in a page - one for main slider the other for news slider. May it casuse any problems in the future? If so, what extension do you recomemnd for a news slider? Thank you for suggestions.

The built-in carousel can be used multiple times.
