Themeable Menu submenu on mobile issue

I'm using 16.4.3 and have a themeable menu, bootstrap type in use. When viewing the menu in mobile and selecting a menu option with a large submenu I can't figure out how to make the menu options scroll when there are more than one screen full of options. Is this possible? Thanks so much.

I'm sorry, there is no scroll option in the menu.
