Design Help

Post by Bazza2 »

Hello
My site is now roughed in...I still need to get a cleaner cap top of page and fix some of the text up

Would appreciate any ideas how to improve look of the three Square layers with text inside.
They are just under the Page links.

To me they just let down the look of it.
I have considered just having text and leave out the squares.

Any other suggestions appreciated

Many Thanks
Barry

Hi Barry,

I always think it's good to make the menu layer sticky, like I've done on https://www.beckenhambusinessassociation.co.uk/

Thanks Colin
Nice to hear from you.

Love the design of your site.

I was thinking along the lines of something like that modern look but I decided something more old school as I do have a site
intensive with links so a more link friendly site was my goal.
I checked out how the newspaper sites handle text so I went that way on my landing pages.

Also added a very subtle background to cut down on what I thought was too much white.

Here it is now.
