Toolbox malfunctions

Checked for solutions couldn't find them.

1. problem - under 'navigation bar' (Toolbox - multiple individual buttons) Under 'style' button24.gif (keeping background/hover the same, heading getting a double box with a black dot to the left of it on published page (ok on browser preview)

2. Straight line created in toolbox, colour chosen, is ok on preview however colour does not show on published page come out as white or no line at all. In addition, straight line is at time misplaced on published page. (Note: coloured line and designed line ok on preview)

3. Spacing on Design page is not represented on published page, having to re-space. Space can be showing 6cm +/- to bottom of manually sized page.

4. Text and images are having to be overlapped on some pages to get the correct spacing on published page.

To be able to help you, I need a DEMO project so I can see all your settings.

Note: I do not need the complete project because that will only take more time to figure out what you have done.
Basically, I just need a small project with one page and object(s) that are relevant to your question.
