Why have my CSS files started appearing in my top level?

Post by alan_sh »

In the Puiblish Options, I have it so that css files appear in a css sub folder. This has been working great for ages. All of a sudden, and I don't know why, when I publish, the CSS files appear in the top level (same folder as the html files).

I've checked the options and it should be putting css files in their own folder.
I stopped and restarted WWB and it now works correctly. BUT - now my MP4 files - which should go in an mp4 folder - are now going to my top level.

What is going on? I think a reboot of my PC is in order.

I rebooted my PC and it all seems to have settled down.

But it was very weird while it lasted.

It's called IT 101. The first troubleshooting suggestion in all IT departments is: Did you reboot your system?

I know - but it was really weird. I did some work in the morning and it was OK. Left the PC with WWB still up there. Came back and did some further work and it started to fail on me.

Hummm. Thinking about it, I imported 3 pages after lunch from an older project. Each page had 5 breakpoints and the new project has just the default. It also has a master page with no breakpoints. It is possible that WWB got a bit confused somewhere when combining a Master page with no breakpoints with pages that have some (and with different widths too).

I fixed all the breakpoint issues and rebooted my PC at around the same time.

I'm not going to try and reproduce this - my heart won't take the strain :D :D
