Why is Mobile Responsive Menu not..

Post by etcbbu »

Hi all, got a new site going here:
http://s905202515.onlinehome.us/index.php
Why isn't the Mobile, 320-Breakpoint Responsive Menu not doing what I configure it to do on the 320-Breakpoint page on my " index.php " file?
Here's the link for my .WBS file (I'm good about stripping-out my masterpages normally, but this time, the object in question is on the masterpage itself, so I left it in this time) :
http://s905202515.onlinehome.us/proj.zip
Yes, there are two of the Responsive Menu objects there, because I didn't like how it was acting, so wanted to start with a brand-new, dedicated one that's for the 320-Breakpoint and mobile ONLY.

I looked at your demo page but I'm not understanding the problem. What exactly is it supposed to do? What is the outcome you are looking for? I'm not a fan of using 2 of the same menu. Also, make sure the breakpoints on your master page match the pages on your index page as this can sometimes cause issues, wackiness and hijinx to occur. :D

@crispy68 - thank you for responding. Here are my four issues:

1) I mean, I've set that "Portfolio" to not be a link to anything in the "Mobile" / "320-Breakpoint", but whenever I visit
http://s905202515.onlinehome.us on a smartphone, whenever I press "Portfolio", it goes to the Portfolio page of the site. I don't want that. And I *thought* I removed a Hyperlink being on that "Portfolio" part of the Responsive Menu. So I don't know what's going on. Luckily, the "Services" page is set the same, and that one is not forcing the user to go to "Services".

2) And now, as far as the Breakpoint / Masterpage / Index page size' matching — I could totally be wrong, but I'm showing a

- 1366 (Default)
- 1024
- 768
- 320

But am I missing something? Not trying to be rude or smart-aleck, I'm literally asking where I'm missing if my Breakpoints aren't matching, as I don't see it.

3) UPDATE: think my problem was, I forgot "text" is responsive not only on size and position, but on Font-TYPE too, and so I am now switching everything to "Lora" on every breakpoint. I still need help with bullet points 1) and 2) , and 4) .
I have that large "JK Hatcher Custom Homes" text set as a Google Font called "Lora", and whenever I visit the public website at http://s905202515.onlinehome.us , it's not showing the body text on the page as "Lora", but it *is* showing the top Responsive menu as "Lora", which I have set there, too. I have this font set around several places on this website. It *is* a Google Font, but it is not showing up on any of the pages of this website. Every page title I have set to be "Lora", and it's just not showing..? But the top-nav menu is in "Lora", and works just fine.

4) The top-nav menu seems to be left-aligning even though I've set all of the settings to be "center". I'm just wondering why..?
