WYSIWYG Web Builder FAQ
publish to replace the current url
how to publish all pages to "replace" a (current) site with the same url? The current site was made (from someone else) with a different web builder. I was asked to create a new site and "keep" the current url.
Re: publish to replace the current url
The URL is separate from the website. All you need to do is change the files on the server and the changes will be seen. Your new index page would technically overwrite the old index page and so on.
I typically create a folder on the server, move all the old files to this folder (as a backup) and then upload all the new files. This way if anything gets jacked up, I always have the old files available if needed. Once I confirm my new site is up and running and no issues, then I get rid of the old files.
