WWB 18 and Invisible Text

Post by richrich »

Guys, I just bought WWB 18 today and am having trouble with invisible text on windows 7. I have to run Win 7 due to some custom business software I have it run. Here is a youtube video where you can see exactly what's happening. I hope someone has already been through this and knows the fix. Rich

Windows 7 does not fully support direct2d.
First make sure Direct2D has been installed:

Also uncheck "Enabled direct2d rich text rendering'

Installing Win 7 SP1 worked. I saw that remedy yesterday, but when I checked the win 7 system it said it had SP1 installed. I though I would try installing it today as I was running out of options. It did work, text can now be seen. There must be different SP1 packs, as I know I installed it before. Now on to the other 100 tests to do moving from ver 14 to 18 of WWB. Thanks Pablo,
