Images problem

Post by suomi48 »

I was unable to publish, so I went to my host and uploaded all my html, jpg, and css files. The text is mostly in the right place, but the images do not appear. Any thoughts on this?

You should probably save your jpg files in the "images' folder on your host.

Why were you unable to publish?

Have you not resolved this as discussed at the following? Please try to resolve one thing at a time. Many publishing issues are either server related or human related such as mentioned at the following urls ie naming conventions. If publishing fails please check that your firewall or av program is not blocking it. Check that the software has the permission to do so. If you are unable to publish what does the publish log say? Have you tried another file publishing tool such as Filezilla.

but the images do not appear. Any thoughts on this?

Have you named the images correctly? When naming images they should not start with any numbers or have spaces in them. Many hosts/servers are case sensitive so all files should use lowercase ie my images.jpg and not MYIMAGE.JPG or Myimage.jpg
Are you sure you are doing this? Please see the following:
