Createing Templates?

Post by peters »

OK, been working with WYSIWYG Web Builder now for a good week. Pretty well have gone through most of the videos and in the middle of doing a responsive app that will primarily be accessed on cell phones. Things are working out great and I am really glad I found this software.
I would like to start to make templates that can be dropped into the extension folder, but I can't seem to find much on the actual creating of a template.
My reasons are so I can start to build my own custom template libraries for some of the applications I am going to be writing.
Can someone provide some links on: "How to Create WYSIWYG Web Builder Templates" and what do I need to download to start to build templates?
Googling "How to Create WYSIWYG Web Builder Templates" turned up fruitless and I saw one site that had a WYSIWYG API, but don't know if this is related to this WYSIWYG Web Builder software.

Thanks in advance!

I guess I used the incorrect wording.
I am looking at the extensions with file that ends in .wbx that appears in the ToolBox panel.
As an example, I want to create my own login object that I can hard code field names that are standard for what I want to appear in the Login form. I realize you have Login Tools that I am currently using, but have to add in field names like: extra1, extra2, etc.
I want to create my own login form with field names: FirstName, LastName, LoginID, LoginPw, EmailAddr, Address1, Address2, City, Province, PostalCode. Then when I match to mySQL I have field names that match the data stored in them.
Also, if I created my own login form and generated it as an extension being a .wbx file, then I can use it inside a flexgrid or flextable as I understand this kind of object will allow itself to be inserted into a flexgrid; where-as if I copy your current ToolBox Login object to a form, then I'm stuck using it inside a Grid with input texboxes that grow and shrink and occupy the full width of the grid and this I do not want to do visually.
I used the incorrect term, as I fully understand templates.
Sorry for the confusion!

In that case, this may be helpful:

Note that I cannot help you with custom coding. See also the disclaimer on the page.

Thank you very much!
That is what I was looking for. I downloaded the program and will be looking at it over the weekend.
