***SOLVED***Honeypot Field in Layout Grid Form - Visible Chrome and Edge

Have upgraded to v19.

Attempted to try out the new Honeypot Field in Layout Grid/Forms/Settings/Advanced/Miscellaneous.

Worked just fine in Firefox (form looked as it should) but in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge an extra rectangle (field) displayed to the left next the existing form fields.

We have since removed Honeypot Field and reverted back to previous website version. So, the field is no longer online.

Just wondering if anyone else had this issue yet ?

The honeypot input field should not be visible.
Did you try to clear your browser cache?

Do you have an example of what it looks like?

Sorry, I didn't clear any cache. And, didn't test on any mobile devices either.

But I will try to replicate and leave it on the website for you to look at if there is still a problem after clear cache.

Will let you know either way as soon as I can. Just in the middle of something right now.

I have replicated the issue with Honeypot Field.

Cleared the cache - as you suggested - in of FireFox, Chrome and Edge on Windows 11 Desktop and Firefox and Chrome on Android Telephone.

Now cache was cleared in all browsers, the Honeypot Field is visible and can have text entered into on all the mentioned browsers. I tried sending a message but the successful response page I have for that Contact Us form just show a blank screen.

Please see if you can see the same extra field to the left of the form on a desktop and at the top of the form on an Android telephone in portrait or landscape.

Did you install the latest build (11/27/2023)?

If that does not fix the issue then please share a DEMO project.

Version 19.0.0 Build 21 November 2023 was installed from the other day.

I just now installed 19.0.0 Build 27 November 2023 and the additional form (HoneyPot) field is no longer showing and the form seems to operate as it should.

Case closed.
