scrolling with the mouse

Post by queenidog »

The center button on the mouse scrolls a page at a time in the editor, sometimes almost putting it out of reach and I find myself scrolling up, scrolling down, looking for one line. Is there a setting where I can indicate how many lines to scroll at one time?

I keep looking for the scroll bars and have trouble finding them, even though, in Options, I indicated I wanted them showing at all times.

Did you try going to Files=>Options=> User Interface => Then just "UNCHECK" Automatically hide scrollbars.

Sorry, there is no setting to control the number of lines to scroll, this is controlled by your system configuration.

This may be of interest. Note: I haven't tried or tested the X-Mouse please read all information including the disclaimer at end.
Overview:
X-Mouse Button Control (XMBC) allows you to create application and window specific profiles. This in turn, allows you to re-configure your mouse behaviour for individual applications or windows.

Probably mouse dependent. I have a Logitech, so the app that came with it has a setting for number of lines scrolled by the wheel. Or the Windows setting that BF listed might work.

Thanks all. I found the scroll bar...it was hidden under the Site Manager panel!!

At least with the scroll bar I can scroll at any speed I want.
