Mobile Web Design Help

Post by Nomad Soul »

Hi

I'm using Web Builder v17 and need to design a mobile website.

I can't see any mobile tutorials or templates for this. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Also are there any new mobile features in WB v19 I should take into consideration?

Thanks

I think the issue is that you are looking for 'mobile' and you need to be looking for 'responsive'.

Have a read up about responsive web sites. There's an introduction here https://www.interaction-design.org/lite ... ive-design

Then have a think about how you would implement it. I use layer grids and put items inside it. I've produced a template which may give you a start and you can get to it from here viewtopic.php?t=93336

Come back and ask questions - we all started somewhere.

Ok so things are going great. I love layout grids now.

Just 1 confusion I'm having. I can't place a form object inside a layout grid. Its not highlighting blue when I try to put it inside.

If I just add the other form elements in the layout grid and put a submit button there will it still work?

You cannot drop/place a form object into a layout grid..but you can use the layout grid to be a form itself. See the following reading from...
How can I add a form to the Layout Grid?
