Moved web host. Attempting to upload site with new FTP settings.

Post by iMatt »

To cut a long story short, my previous web host has gonebust. All without sending a notification email! So I had to find a new host quick. Attempting to use WB19's FTP tool. However, not having much luck. I think I'm imputting all the correct data. However, what do I put in the description and URL dialogue feilds?

Which settings did you use?
What is the error message?

Please check this FAQ:
http://www.wysiwygwebbuilder.com/forum/ ... 10&t=36493

description = a description for your own use
url = the url of the website

These settings do not have any effect on publishing

Are you sure the server supports standard FTP?
Most web hosts have switched to secure FTP.

If you need my help, then you will need to provide more details.

Using FTP to upload
Are you sure that your host is using FTP and not SFTP as this is now generally required by many to upload.
