If I wanted to send it to 10 different email addresses, would I do this the way I would typically in Gmail?

The issue with that is that some people, if they get a CC (or BCC) will assume it's not for them to respond, but just to store it somewhere. Some I know even have a rule which says "if it's a CC, then move it to another folder" and then look at it later.

To carry on from Alan's reply on this. In using it in emails CC stands for "carbon copy this harks back to the days that when you wish to copy a letter you would place carbon paper between two sheets of paper the top would be were you wrote on and would get copied to the bottom sheet. In a similar way to the paper method using CC in a form/email sends a copy to all. The main issue (unrelated to the software) is that it is addressed (sent) to each person on/in the list and all can see the email this may not be ideal as the email itself could be about one of the recipients and they could read it.

Now when we use BCC "Blind Carbon Copy" it works in a similar way as CC it send the same email to multiple recipients at once and you will see a list of those recipients in the email not with BCC with BCC even though the same email is sent to all when received it will only show the recipients address as it it was only meant for them and no other emails are shown.

So if using and you don't want a recipient to receive the email don't include them in CC or use BCC as it will look like the email is for each individual alone without multiple addresses being shown.

@pablo, just so you know, I do use the help docs for the most part. I know you spend a lot of time writing them, and I understand that you prefer people to use them as much as possible.

However, I like reaching out to the WWB community because, beyond the technical writing presented in the help docs, people know little nuances that can make a big difference. I've also found that people suggest workarounds for WWB shortcomings or recommend alternative approaches that are ten times better than I initially considered.

Since I don't use features like cc or bcc, I appreciate the info provided by @alan_sh and @BaconFries. It was a big value to me, and it resulted in a shift away from what I was planning to do — time saved.
