Post by keydog »

I have a site set up like this but all files are on my hosting account and want to try to get these files off the server so I can go back to shared hosting

You cannot display the files via file listing (PHP) on another server for security reasons.

Have you considered using cloud storage services like Google Drive or Dropbox? They can handle a ton of files and let you access them via links.

I was just seeing if anyone else has actually done this,
I think google would be limited and not secure ,
I using this on a paid subscription site , so has to be secure

but thank you for the response

Have you seen mega.nz try that it gives more storage and more security. It is a company based on New Zealand.
