Server file transfer update no longer works

Post by jolijojo »

Hello, I made a modification on a site that has been running for 2 years. The site works well locally, however, it is impossible to modify the hosted files.
The setting is good, the test too. The host asks me if there is an error code file for the FTT transfer of wysiwyg?

What is the exact error?
Please set the log level to 'all' and share the log.

The same problem :
The publish was successful but I still see my old pages.
- Did you publish the pages to the correct folder on the server?
- Did you use the same page names?
- Note that name are case sensitive so 'index' is not the same 'Index'
- If you renamed the file extensions of the page (for example from .html to .php) then you must remove the old page from the server.
- Maybe the browser displaying a cached version of the old page? Select 'Refresh' in your browser multiple times or clear the cache of the browser and also try another browser/computer.

Are you sure the remote folder is correct?
Are there any errors in the log?

Are you sure the remote folder is correct?
Yes, My host IONOS also checked the correct address.
With filezilla and the same settings the transfers work well.
I don't see where my mistake is.
Are there any errors in the log?
Can you remind me how to find the log please ?

You can set the log level in the publish configuration:

Note that I am not referring to the address, but the "remote folder".
Currently, you have set it up to publish the files to the root of the FTP account. Are you sure this is correct?

Maybe you will need to use
/
or
/public_html/

I also have IONOS as webhost and it works correct for me. So, this is most likely a configuration issue.

Re: Server file transfer update no longer works * resolved*

Pablo, I had forgotten that I had created a subdomain and therefore understood that "Remote folter" in English allowed to point to the right folder and not to the root.
Thanks again for your help and patience.
Kind regards,
Jean-Pierre
