Hello
Not sure why but after I create image descriptions using AI Vision and reopen the project that all disappear, so not saving in the image description section of the image properties.
Maybe can check, only just realizing this, thought they were saving.
Thanks

I have tried this myself and it works for me.
There is no difference between human-written text and AI-generated text—both are simply sequences of characters forming a string.
What do I need to do to reproduce this behavior?

What is created doesn't save, it disappears when you reopen the project.
So what you create in that box does not save.
Try it.

I did try, as mentioned in my previous reply.
There is no difference between human-written text and AI-generated text.
Can you please describe the exact steps how to make it not work?

I have tried this many times myself and it works for me.
Does it work when you make changes to the text manually?
Or maybe there is something in the generate text that does not allow it to save? For example, invalid characters.
Can you please share the image?

Have you tried saving "Save As" instead of just "Save"?

Think I figured it out, the description saves when you use png, gif, jpg, it does not save when using webp extension.
Here is the webp image I used, I use webp for all images so none saving.

Save as also doesn't work.

Further to this, to get it to save, had to use the png image, it saved and then switch to the webp image, it saved that way.
So png first, add the description, manually or using AI and save and then switch to the webp image.
Png too large, so using webp images.

I am not sure if this has anything to do with the file's extensions.
For me, it also works with .webp and any other extensions.
Does it work when you manually enter text?

Doesn't work manually either, only happens with webp files. So not sure why on my setup.
Did you try the image file I attached.

The image downloads as png so I could not try this image.
But I have tried with several of my own .webp files and that works for me.
Maybe someone else who is reading this can try it so we can be sure this is not something on your computer only.

Hello,
I am using WB20.0.4
Tried duplicating the steps as per the video and it works for me also using manual typing of the description.
Not sure what type of structure the OP is inserting the image into, I tried a section, and it works.
Saved it several times after making modifications to the description and it still saved.
Most peculiar that for the OP the image is occasionally removed from the page upon reopening the project?
Cheers,
Parker
