change of monitor changes preview

Post by queenidog »

I upgraded my computer monitor to an UHD monitor 3840x2160 from a 1920x1080 monitor. As a result of this change I had to increase the magnification to 200% (or the icons were too small to read).

When I look at my index page WebBuilder app, all is normal. When I do a web PREVIEW, the images are okay but all the text is enlarged. I realize this is a preview but I'm afraid to upload the page to the real web in case I can't get it back!

Any ideas what I may have done wrong? I can create a demo page if necessary. I have screen prints of good and bad pages that tell the story but don't see an upload button anywhere

There is no button as directly uploading to the forum is disabled for security reasons. If you need to do so then you are required to upload to your own host/server and provide links.
In this instance it is most likely related to DPI settings please see the following:

Thanks Baconfries!! That did it. Fixed in seconds. I should have noted too that not all my pages had this issue, but no matter...it works wonderfully now.
