WYSIWYG Web Builder 21 will not load
I've downloaded V21 and installed it, and when I try to start the program it won't load. The Windows 11 error log says something about the ucrtbase.dll module is faulting. I've removed all versions of Web Builder from my computer, as well as all of the registry entries I could find, rebooted, and reinstalled V21. I've also updated Visual C++ to the latest version, and still it won't load. My PC is running an AMD processor, and has plenty of memory and RAM. I also reinstalled V20 which ran fine before I upgraded, and now even V20 won't load. I've run out of ideas short of resetting my computer, and I really don't want to do that.

Re: WYSIWYG Web Builder 21 will not load
If version 20 previously worked and then stopped working, this likely indicates that the issue is not with the software itself.
The file ucrtbase.dll is a standard Windows system file and not specific to WWB.
This issue is most likely related to the Microsoft Visual Studio runtime installation.
Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Visual Studio Redistributable packages?
You can download it here:

If ater trying Pablos suggestion and you still have the same issue you can try using Run System File Checker (SFC): Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run sfc /scannow to repair corrupted system files.

Re: WYSIWYG Web Builder 21 will not load
I tried both of those things with the same result. WB looks like it is going to load, then about two seconds later the icon disappears from the taskbar, and that's it. I had several versions of visual studio that I deleted, then ran the fresh downloaded version. I then ran sfc /scannow and came up with no integrity errors.I then rebooted the computer and tried to load WB, and still got the same result. Would deleting WB and reinstalling it possibly work after doing all this other stuff? I haven't tried that yet. Are there any registry entries that may need to be changed, added, or deleted?

Re: WYSIWYG Web Builder 21 will not load
I don't think reinstalling the software will make any difference. The problem seems to be related to the system, not the software.
Are you sure it is not blocked by your firewall or virus scanner?
or maybe it cannot access your document folders?

Re: WYSIWYG Web Builder 21 will not load
I agree it seems to be the system instead of the software. I turned off both my virus scanner (PCMatic) and Windows Defender, and it still won't load. Before that I tried adding the program to the allow list, and no go. Here is the exact error that is showing up in the event viewer. Maybe this will help.
