[WORKAROUND FOUND] Lightbox Gallery - Pretty Photo - Missing Navigation?

Post by AliGW »

I've just updated the gallery on my club's home page and notice that there are no navigation arrows when I click to enlarge a thumbnail:

https://www.eastipswichcameraclub.co.uk/index.php

Where will I find the settings to switch them back on? I have changed nothing except the images - no settings have been changed at all. Has something got broken in an update, perhaps?

I can provide a sample file if necessary, but as I said, I've not made any changes to the page other than swapping the images. I am sure there were navigation arrowheads before ...

Thanks.

There is too much content to figure out what you have done based on the code.
But I notice is that you are using invalid files name (not web safe), which may confuse the browser.

if you need further assistance then please share a DEMO project so i can see all your settings.

I know about the file names - this is not the issue, since navigation was there before and isn't now, and I have always used invalid file names (unfortunately, I have no choice about this).

I'll provide a demo when I can, but won't be able to today (too busy).

I've changed from PrettyPhoto to lc_lightbox, which works fine. I think I'll just leave it at that - thanks.

The script was not active, so that is why is was missing navigation.
Some scripts fail to load when using invalid file names.
But of course then can be other reasons.

The only way to find out what is wrong is by looking at the (simplified) project.

Thanks, Pablo, but I don't really have time at the moment. I have found a workaround that is satisfactory for me.

I may revisit this when I have the time.
