Re: Retina (a magnifying glass similar to apple's effect)
I am trying to use it on the Carousel with images on each slide. I have named the IDs of the image in the extension and kept the extension out side the carousel area. The zoom works fine in Firefox but there is no zoom in IE9 and Chrome. However, when I check your demo on IE9 and Chrome, zoom shows....something wrong I am doing? Page set to HTML 4.1 Trans and Internet Explorer compatability is IE9

@herbert
thank you for your links.
in the first link you applied "resample" after the effects (like shadow).
as stated in the "how to use" lines, you need to reduce proportionally your image and not apply resample nor other effects.
in the second link, yes, is working fine, but if you reduce a bit more the image, you will be able to see a better effect.

Re: Retina (a magnifying glass similar to apple's effect)
i didn't mean you must change the pictures; don't worry, you can use the existing ones!
just remove the effects and make minor size adjustments. that's all.
anyhow, thanks for your interest in this extension. if you need further assistance, just let me know.

Re: Retina (a magnifying glass similar to apple's effect)
hallo RZ
I very much like your extension Retina but within my project website the content of the magnifying glass captures one part of the image and then it freezes.
I have tried several images. Every time it's freezing. Is Retina compatible with WWB 9?

Re: Retina (a magnifying glass similar to apple's effect)
hello
as far as i tested, yes
however, i need to investigate a minor unstable issue with v9; sometimes it appears and sometimes not
the freeze that you are referring to i cannot reproduce it all the times, and at my end is for just a few seconds until the code gets the control -- the test that i did was with many objects in the page, and will try to find out where the conflict is, the online demo uses advanced layers and runs with no glitches
anyhow, i will try my best to improve the code as soon as i can (hope within this week)
thanks for your report and btw for your feedback

Re: Retina (a magnifying glass similar to apple's effect)
Hi, I like this Extension, but after update to WB9 I don`t see this in extension in Extension manager.
When I remove this from folder, download again and copy to extension directory, the situation is the same.

Re: Retina (a magnifying glass similar to apple's effect)
i'm sorry, your issue is unrelated to the extension; i tested it and works fine at my end
you should ask for support in the proper section as the cause may be related to the number of installed extensions, license, cpu resources, etc, etc...
hope you can soon solve this issue
with regards and thank you for your feedback and your interest in this extension
